Yoga translates as Union, which refers to the union of mind, body and spirit. The benefits of yoga provide both instant gratification and lasting transformation. In the fitness world, both are extremely important. Yoga can change your physical and mental capacity quickly, while preparing the mind and body for long-term health.

Vinyasa
A flow style practice using the classic Sun Salutation as the foundation to develop flexibility and muscle tone. Therapeutic, Restorative, and Viniyoga sequences are used for attention to deeper connective tissue and joints. All levels.

Restorative
A class to help you release stress and relax deeply. Restorative Yoga focuses specifically on connective tissue and deep joints. The body and mind unwind through a combination of supported, relaxing postures. No prior yoga experience required. All levels.

Freestyle
Our Freestyle Practice invites you to come enjoy our lovely studio space in the company of other yogis. There will be a teacher present, however, this is your opportunity to practice in whatever way feels most appropriate to you. It is not a led class.

Meditation
Meditation is a life skill with well-documented, scientifically proven benefits. Our 30 minute practice begins with a short walking meditation followed by seated practice. The technique presented is a simple, guided, non-denominational focus on the felt sense of breath in the body. This is a donation based class with 100% of the proceeds to be used in support of Tamarindo's community space for children, Oneida Park. No prior yoga or meditation experience required.

We are looking forward to ramping up the yoga schedule and offer a variety of classes.
